Following the highly successful Boot Camp series in 2003 which 50 technology companies attended, we will be holding one day Preparation Seminars in each capital city again this year. The Preparation Seminars will be hosted at the Minter Ellison offices throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Preparation Seminars are run by a panel of experts with extensive US experience. They are an important prerequisite and highly recommended for companies planning on showcasing at the October ANZA Technology Network Conference in Silicon Valley. The full day Preparation Seminar will cover the following critical areas:

  • Prepare participating showcasing companies on how to leverage and maximize the opportunities presented at the October Conference.
  • Review the mentoring program leading up to the conference and ensure companies are prepared
  • Provide lessons, skills and techniques on how to stand out in the US with a focus on the 30-second elevator pitch.
  • Provide feedback on fine-tuning presentations for the conference

Conference showcasing companies will be required to rehearse their 5 minute showcase presentations at the Preparation Sessions.

Cost of the full day Preparation Seminars is US$250 which includes lunch. This fee will be deducted from your conference showcasing fee when you register for the conference. It will not be refunded if your company doesn't go on to showcase at the conference.

Please note registration for the Boot Camps opens August 1st, 2004.

Minter Ellison has been ranked the 14th largest law firm in the world by recent UK and US reviews. The firm has more than doubled in size since 1995 with over 2000 people working in seven countries.

Much of that success is due to the values which drive our firm: integrity and trust; enduring relationships; balance; and excellence.

With integrity and trust, we are talking about being honest, constructive, fair and ethical.

Enduring relationships occur when we care about our relationships, and work together with people and organisations with values compatible with our own.

By balance we mean respecting the diverse contributions of our people to improving the firm and the needs of each individual outside work.

And excellence, put simply, is passionately being the best in everything we do.

In our firm these values summarise our approach and drive our behaviour.
