Austrade's High Tech Americas team is an initiative that aims to assist Australian technology companies enter markets in North and South America.

We have a network of 16 industry specialists in 10 office locations across the region offering a range of advisory and market research services tailored to the needs of Australian companies in the Information Technology and Telecommunications and Life Sciences industries.
We offer a number of free services including market advisory briefings, referrals to professional service providers, and general information on doing business in North and South America.

Our tailored market research services are offered on a fee for service basis, in line with the standard Austrade service policy. Services include market analysis and research, identification and qualification of strategic and distribution/reseller partners, arrangement of appointment programs and advice on options and costs for establishing a local office.

For companies eligible for the Export Market Development Grant scheme, Austrade's service fees and other marketing expenses may be claimed as expenses and reimbursed at a rate of up to 50%.
